Marmite Rice Cakes

This heart healthy snack is packed with nutrients and healthy fats to give your brain a boost, lower your blood pressure and strengthen your immune system. It is also abundant in B Vitamins which supports the liver and kidneys as well as lifts the spirits to keep you feeling positive and revitalised.

 

Ingredients:

1-2 Rice Cakes/Cracker of your choice

¼ Avocado (Excellent source of Vitamin E, B vitamins and rich in potassium)

1 tsp Marmite (Great source of B vitamins, particularly B12)

1 tsp fresh Parsley (Rich in vitamin C, has blood purifying properties)

1 tsp Olive oil (Optional) (Rich in mono-saturated fat & antioxidants that lower blood pressure)

 

Method:

Spread your Marmite on the Rice Cakes/ Cracker

Cut up Avocado and layer on top

Finely chop the Parsley and sprinkle on top

Add a dash of Olive Oil (optional)

Marmite on a rice cake
